I think anyone in the entertainment industry can agree that setting the stage for a show is equally important as the show itself. And boy-oh-boy is that just what we did for as a vendor for Europa Park who proudly produced IAAPA’s 2012 opening ceremonies held here in beautiful Orlando, FL. Attendees for the convention were ushered in through a dark tent-like hallway lit with shades of blue and purple that showcased the best European cirque’ style acts supported by a good ole’ Dixie Land / washboard band. Right of the bat, the jugglers and stilt walkers were sure to amaze and give the unmistakable cirque feel. Tunes from the washboard band with its playful songs led the guests through the tunnel, where they were eventually showcased in their brightly colored red and white striped suits and staple brass instruments. And for those guests walking in alone, our mime was there to accompany and make every last person feel a part of the experience! A beautiful living statue helped add the feeling of mystery and wonder as the tunnel opened into the seating area for the main event. As a break in the show, we then showcased a stunning opera singer, accompanied by the amazing aerialist Emilia Arata . All in all, I would say everyone felt like their ticket to the show was well worth it!
